How many strands of floss do you need for making the long and short stitch?

Since I have used the pearl cotton floss, I've taken double floss for it. But if you're taking basic embroidery floss for the development, then you'll start with 2 strands of floss and building up the collection of strands in keeping with your design. The lesser the strands, the finer the design will likely be.

Step through Step Pictorial Process of making the long and short Stitch

1. Start through inserting the needle from underneath the material at point A. Make a instantly stitch at Point B at your desired length.

2. Take the thread down at level B and convey it up at level C, this is just beside Point A.

3. Make a shorter stitch at point D. This must be shorter than the former stitch.

4. Keep operating in identical type for the remainder of the stitches by making one long stitch and one short stitch.

5. Work till the top of the design. One row is finished. If you need to fill a design, paintings on the second row in a similar fashion. You can take a look at the video for more uncomplicated reference.
